About metal allergies

PICOLLET barbells use 18k gold and platinum materials all the way through the interior, so unlike plated products, they do not cause allergic reactions due to the internal metal corroding to the surface.

Please choose between 16G and 14G to match your gauge size (the size of your piercing hole).

16G　(Diameter: 1.2mm)

It may feel tight at first, but this is a thickness that can also be used in standard piercing holes.
If you are unsure of your gauge size, we recommend 16G.

14G　(Diameter: 1.6mm)

A popular thickness for cartilage piercings and body piercings. Please check the gauge size of the needle used for piercing.

For easy attachment and removal of parts and cleaning of the barbell, we recommend piercing hole thickness +1mm.
※If there is a possibility of swelling, we recommend an additional +1mm.

How to measure piercing hole thickness

01. What you need

Please prepare fashion earrings and a ruler. Set the earring back in the "reverse" direction, and you're ready to go.

02. Put on the piercing

With the back still attached, insert the earring from the front.

03. Slide the back

Slide the back until it reaches the surface of the ear. At this point, use your finger to hold the post so the tip does not come out from the back of the ear.

04. Measurement

The thickness of the piercing hole is the distance from the back's position to the tip of the post.

If you are unsure of the thickness of your piercing hole, please try 7mm. 7mm is a popular length that is easy to use for various piercing holes, such as earlobes and cartilage.
If the length does not fit,exchange serviceplease use it and choose the best length based on 7mm.

The standard is 6–7mm The effective post length for fashion earrings is 6–7mm is common.
