Handling of Customers' Personal Information

picollet Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") securely manages customers' personal information and uses it appropriately in accordance with the following policy.

1. Acquisition of Personal Information

(1) When the Company obtains personal information directly from customers, it will do so after clarifying the purpose of use.
(2) Unless the customer has given prior consent, the personal information we collect will be limited to the minimum information necessary to achieve the purposes described in 2-(1).

2. Use of Personal Information

(1) Except with the customer's prior consent, the Company will use personal information obtained from customers only for purposes such as sales promotion (including notices about product information, lifestyle information, and various special offers), sales service operations (such as order acceptance, reservations, sales processing, repair/processing, later handover, delivery (shipping), and after-sales service), and for future product planning, product development, and purchasing analysis.
(2) The personal information we handle includes not only the customer's own information but also personal information of family members or delivery recipients that we obtain indirectly through the customer. However, personal information about persons other than the customer, which we obtained via the customer, will be used only for sales service operations (such as order acceptance, reservations, sales processing, repair/processing, later handover, delivery (shipping), and after-sales service) and for purposes such as future product planning, product development, and purchasing analysis; it will not be used for sales promotion such as notices about product information, lifestyle information, or various special offers.

3. Security Measures for Personal Information

(1) The Company will implement necessary and appropriate security measures against risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, alteration, loss, or leakage.
(2) To ensure the protection of customers' personal information, the Company will strive to educate and raise awareness among employees and will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision of employees to ensure secure management of personal information.
(3) If the Company outsources the handling of customers' personal information to a third party, it will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the contractor to ensure secure management of personal information.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

(1) The Company will not disclose or provide customers' personal information to third parties, except in certain cases stipulated by the Personal Information Protection Law—such as when the customer has given consent; when we receive a legally compelled request from judicial or administrative authorities or need to cooperate with such authorities; or when disclosure is necessary to protect significant interests such as life, physical safety, or property.
(2) Even when the customer has given consent to disclose or provide personal information to a third party, we will enter into arrangements regarding personal information protection with that third party and take all possible measures to protect the information.
(3) Approach and Procedures Regarding Behavioral Targeting

To use advertising delivery services provided by third parties, including Yahoo Japan Corporation, those third parties may collect and use users' visit and behavioral history information on the PICOLLET website via cookies and similar technologies. Visit and behavioral history information collected by such third parties is handled in accordance with those third parties' privacy policies. Users can opt out of the use of collected visit and behavioral history information for ad delivery by using the opt-out mechanisms provided by those third-party ad services.

5. Correction/Amendment of Personal Information

(1) The Company strives to keep customers' personal information accurate and up-to-date.
(2) If a customer requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or similar actions regarding their personal information, the Company will respond promptly. (Please note that certain restrictions may apply or that the customer may be required to bear costs.)
(3) The Company will establish a "Customer Support" contact point to handle customer requests, inquiries, and consultations concerning personal information.

The Company will continuously review this policy and strive for improvement.
